Nestled in the heart of the forest in the Contadero neighborhood of Mexico City, Casa Negro is an architectural masterpiece created in the late 1990s by renowned Mexican architects Alberto Kalach and Daniel Álvarez. This project was developed in collaboration with its first owners, filmmaker Alejandro González Iñárritu and his wife, María Eladia Hagerman.

Casa Negro's timeless style is complemented by a curated selection of furniture that highlights its architecture. Iconic pieces by designers such as Angelo Mangiarotti and Mario Pani, fur chairs by Pierre Jeanneret, and art by Aldo Chaparro, Mario García Torres, and Brian Thoreen enrich the decor, lending a distinctive and sophisticated character.

This residence demonstrates that the greatness of interior design lies not in quantity, but in quality. Achieving minimalist and contemplative environments in open spaces with straightforward lines, Casa Negro demonstrates how a precise selection of furniture and pieces that match architectural excellence can transform a house into an unforgettable home.
